Composition Mode
Composition Mode allows you to build advanced trading strategies by assembling predefined components in a flexible, modular way. It is designed for users who want precision and customization without being limited to a single input method.
1. Strategy Description
This section defines the core logic of your strategy.
You can describe your strategy using:
Natural language prompts or custom instructions
Code, including Python, Pine Script, EX4, MQL5, and other supported languages
Indicators, Quant & AI Systems
You can also enhance your strategy by inserting:
Technical Indicators
Quantitative Systems
Comps AI Modules
By clicking Show Indicators, a dropdown menu displays all available indicators and systems. You can either:
Let Comps AI automatically optimize indicator selection and parameters based on the asset, market conditions, and timeframe
Or manually specify indicator settings and parameters directly in the description
Unlimited Combinations
You are free to combine inputs in any way, including:
Prompt + Indicators
Indicators only
Natural language only
Natural language + Indicators
Code only
Code + Indicators
The flexibility allows for virtually unlimited strategy configurations.
2. Instructions to AI
In this section, you define how the AI should interpret and execute your strategy.
You can:
Write custom execution instructions
Select from predefined Instruction Templates
These instructions control how Comps AI processes logic, prioritizes conditions, and executes the strategy consistently.
3. Signal Analysis
This section defines how the AI analyzes and explains each generated signal.
You can:
Describe the analysis criteria in your own words
Use predefined analysis templates
This allows you to control:
Market context evaluation
Confidence or strength assessment
Supporting logic included in the signal explanation
4. Signal Confirmation
Signal Confirmation defines the final validation layer before a signal is generated.
You can define confirmation rules using:
Natural language instructions
Custom prompts
Code (Python, Pine Script, EX4, MQL5, and other supported languages)
Indicators, Quant & AI Confirmation
As with the strategy description, you can insert:
Technical indicators
Quantitative models
AI systems
Comps AI can either:
Automatically optimize confirmation logic based on the market and asset
Or follow explicit parameters defined by you

Confirmation logic can be built using any combination, including:

Setting Up Your Composition-Based Strategy
Complete all required fields, starting by assigning your strategy a clear and descriptive title. Carefully define your strategy by providing:
Trading logic, rules, and conditions
Instructions to the AI on how to interpret and execute the strategy
Signal analysis instructions, specifying how each signal should be evaluated and explained
Signal confirmation rules, defining the conditions that must be met before a signal is generated
Win Rate Optimization
You can enable Win Rate Optimization to allow Comps AI to refine execution and filtering logic with the goal of improving the overall signal success rate, while maintaining risk discipline. Each filter has a description explaining what it does.
Override Base System Prompt
For advanced users with highly detailed or proprietary strategies, Comps offers the Override Base System Prompt option.
When enabled, your custom instructions will fully replace both the base system prompt and any administrative system prompts, rather than being appended to them. This ensures your strategy logic is executed exactly as defined, without additional system-level influence.
Enable Strategy for Signal Generation
If you want your strategy to be available for generating signals, enable the Run Strategy option. This will make your strategy selectable in the Strategy dropdown within the Signal Generation Cockpit.
Realtime Indicator Badge Settings
You can optionally enable real-time indicator badges to enhance signal visibility:
Trend Indicator – Displays the current market direction and trend strength
Smart Money / ICT Indicator – Highlights institutional activity and liquidity behavior
Signal Strength Indicator – Shows the confidence or strength level of the signal
Volume Indicator – Displays volume activity to support trade validation (primarily for equities)
Save Your Strategy
Once all settings are configured, click Save to securely store your strategy and make it available according to your selected options.
