Use Template
Strategy templates allow you to start trading immediately, refine proven frameworks, or build advanced strategies faster—without starting from scratch.
To use a template:
Click Create New Strategy
Select Use Template
Browse the strategy template library, where each template includes a detailed description
Choose the template that best matches your trading style
Click Select to load and customize the strategy
Strategy templates are pre-built trading strategies designed to help you get started quickly or serve as a foundation for customization. Comps offers over 60 strategy templates across a wide range of trading styles, including:

Every strategy template comes fully structured with:

Dynamic Win Rate Optimization
Template performance is dynamic, not static. Winning rates adjust based on how you configure and optimize the Win Rate Optimization modules. This ensures strategies remain adaptive rather than fixed or overfitted.
Setting Up a Template-Based Strategy
To begin, click the Create New Strategy button and select Use Template from the Start a New Strategy pop-up.
Browse through the list of available templates and choose the strategy that best fits your trading style. Click Select to proceed. You will then be taken to a setup screen where you can configure the Win Rate Optimization settings.
After configuring your preferences, click Continue. This will bring you to the final strategy page, where all fields are pre-populated based on the selected template.
From there, you can:
Keep the strategy exactly as provided
Modify any parameters, logic, or settings to suit your needs
Once you’re satisfied, click Save to store your strategy.
Win Rate Optimization
You can enable Win Rate Optimization to allow Comps AI to refine execution and filtering logic with the goal of improving the overall signal success rate, while maintaining risk discipline. Each filter has a description explaining what it does.
Override Base System Prompt
For advanced users with highly detailed or proprietary strategies, Comps offers the Override Base System Prompt option.
When enabled, your custom instructions will fully replace both the base system prompt and any administrative system prompts, rather than being appended to them. This ensures your strategy logic is executed exactly as defined, without additional system-level influence.
Enable Strategy for Signal Generation
If you want your strategy to be available for generating signals, enable the Run Strategy option. This will make your strategy selectable in the Strategy dropdown within the Signal Generation Cockpit.
Realtime Indicator Badge Settings
You can optionally enable real-time indicator badges to enhance signal visibility:
Trend Indicator – Displays the current market direction and trend strength
Smart Money / ICT Indicator – Highlights institutional activity and liquidity behavior
Signal Strength Indicator – Shows the confidence or strength level of the signal
Volume Indicator – Displays volume activity to support trade validation (primarily for equities)
Save Your Strategy
Once all settings are configured, click Save to securely store your strategy and make it available according to your selected options.
